Mistletoe

Hello everyone. I'm popping in for a quick post with this mistletoe card.

I found this image in my UFO box. I think it was a freebie that I coloured in several years ago. All I needed to do now was add more shading with my Copics and coloured pencils and die cutting it into a panel with a red mat behind it. The sentiment (Winnie & Walter) was stamped in black Versafine and fussy cut.

To add a little more interest to the background, I did some very light ink blending over an old stencil using Speckled egg distress ink.

I'm linking up my card at:

  6. Marianne, you picked one of my favourite christmas-decorations - the mistletoe.
Maybe I love them cause when I was a child I often went with my dad for searching nice toes in the areas around our village... But that's long time ago - this year I found a very beautiful one here in my town (and I'm still not sure if it's ok to just take them from a tree on an open field or fawn...).
Hope you had a heartfelt kiss beneath one of them!

Thanks for sharing this beautiful card with us in the Uniko Challenge #68
    Best wishes fom Wiebke
