Plaid stenciling for Christmas

Hello everyone. I had a some crafty time today so that I could finish a Christmas card for a couple of challenges.

I created my background by applying embossing paste through a Plaid stencil (Joanna Sheen). Next, I added a few sprinkles of embossing powder in gold and silver and heat set it, being careful not to let the paste bubble too much.

I finished my card by adding some elements from my UFO box and adhering the panel to my A2 card base.

August CCC reveal and OCC class

Hello everyone! It's the second of the month, which means it's time for another reveal at the Card Chain Challenge. This month, my card did not have to travel far, from Crete to mainland Greece, but I was late in sending it out, so Mia of Craftartista has not received it yet.

I decided to combine the colours and theme from the CCC inspiration with an idea from the current Crushing on Cardstock class (from Cathy Zielske) at Online Card Classes.

I cut some strips of coloured cardstock (snippets) and silver cardstock using my trimmer and doubled them up for more dimension, especially since the cardstock I used was not very thick. For the sentiment, I used a CUTplorations die cut from the same silver cardstock as well as a shadow layer from a snippet of white cardstock. I die cut the heart from a snippet of vellum. I finished things off with a few small gems that I found while decluttering my craft room.

I'm linking up my card at:

After getting reacquainted with crafting in my craft room,
I'm also venturing out to have a play at
It's been so long since I've played there,
I'm hoping I don't get lost along the way.

Sweet UFO box card

Hello everyone! While I was working on decluttering my craft room (a work in progress), I found the elements of today's card. I had already stamped, watercoloured and die cut my ice creams (Lawn Fawn) and die cut the patterned paper using an MFT die. I figured I had better finish the card while summer is still ongoing here in Greece. All I had to do was adhere the panels to a card base, position my ice creams and add a sentiment (Altenew). I used foam tape to pop up the outer frame as well as two of the ice creams.
