Rainbow trees

Hello everyone. As soon as I saw the card that Laura Bassen created for the recent Holiday Workshop class at Online Card Classes, I knew I wanted to use her idea and technique with my Tim Holtz stencil. As always, this class was filled with inspiration, but I have only managed to create this one card so far.

I used Catherine Pooler inks and blending brushes to do my rainbow ink blending. I white heat embossed this beautiful bold sentiment (Festive Cheer, Penny Black), trimmed & fussy cut it out and mounted it to my panel using thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few clear drops.

    Ja, de herkenbare regenboogkleuren van Laura Bassen. Eveneens een herkenbaar stencil, maar dit idee moet je maar net opkomen. Verrassend effect. Liefs, Ineke��

    Wow, what an awesome background you created Marianne, the colours are fabulous! Love the stencil you used too, it's very festive. The black and white sentiment contrasts perfectly with the rainbow of colour. Love it!

    These wishes certainly are bright - and I love the clear drops, too... there's always rain involved somewhere when you see a rainbow!
