Muse #253 and MFT Olympics

I have another quick post to share. When I saw Tracey's card for the current Muse challenge, I just had to play along. I decided to combine my Muse card with the Speed cardmaking challenge for the MFT Creative Olympics.

Fortunately, I already had some pre-cut and scored cards on hand and I also had a few previously cut  small panels tucked away with my dies. I made sure I had all my supplies ready and then set the timer on my phone. After my blending, stamping, colouring, fussy cutting and heat embossing and putting everything together on my card, I had 1 minute and 55 seconds left, time enough to add some white dots on the scarf and background.

Below is Tracey's Muse card that inspired mine.
As you can see, I used all of the elements, but on a smaller scale.

And when I saw the current sketch challenge at the MFT blog, I simply had to make another version of my first card. Love when that happens.

I'm also linking up my card at the Freestyle challenge for the MFT Creative Olympics

And I would also like to remind you all that you still have some time left to link up any Chrismas card using any colouring medium at the current challenge at Jingle Belles. The linky closes at 6pm EST on Wednesday.

  6. What adorable cards! Speed card making... maybe I should try that to get my mojo going - end of Frebuary is near and haven't made a one card this year... it may also have to do with the actual Olympics that I am binge watching!
    Cheers
