Cork and felt for CAS Mix Up

I'm back with a second GD card for the current CAS Mix Up challenge.

This month we are challenging you to use the following on your CAS mixed-media cards:

I used stamping, die-cutting, cork and felt

I started by adding double-sided tape to a piece of cork and running it through my Cuttlebug with a (stitched) circle die (SSS). Next, I stamped the compass from a fairly new stamp set (Sea View Collecton by Sheena Douglas, which came with an accompanying Creative Stamping magazine) in black Versafine. I stamped my sentiment from the same set onto a panel of hammered cardstock and adhered my panel to a card that I created from some neutral-coloured (taupe) cardstock that I recently purchased on Blitsy. I adhered my cork circle to my card and finished off with a die cut heart from red felt, both for a pop of colour and to reinforce the meaning of the sentiment.

Now go and check out the wonderful creations by the DT. You have until the 24th to play along.

I'm also linking up my card at:

SSS Wednesday - Add a die cut

Allsorts - #454 All you need is love

HLS CAS - Hearts

Penny Black and More - Love, hearts and/or flowers
