Medallion stamping with Winnie and Walter

After I had created this card earlier this month, I decided to create a few more cards based on the same concept. I first created another one (at the bottom of this post) using the same PTI stamp sets as before, and then created two more using Eva's Favorite Flowers by Winnie and Walter, who have been celebrating their 4th birthday this month with several challenges and giveaway. I have been creating a few cards for their challenges last week and have been having lots of fun yesterday evening and today to create a few more. So now I need to hurry to get them all posted here on the blog, so I had better keep my posts short.

I tested my first W&W design onto a piece of scrap and decided to stamp it onto a rustic cardstock by Papertrey Ink because of the folk art look of my design. Like before, I used Catherine Pooler inks to stamp my images (Eucalyptus, Green Tea, Mandarine Spice, Peppermint Scrub). The sentiment is from Carolina's Flora (W&W).

I'm linking up this card at:

W&W 4the Birthday Bash - Four challenge with Shay
(4 image stamps stamped 4 times – except for the centre – in 4 colours)

W&W 4the Birthday Bash - Grid challenge with Karen

W&W 4the Birthday Bash - Repetitive stamping with Crystal

SSS  Wednesday - Anything goes

----------------------------

For my second card, I used the outline leaf stamp for a lighter look and then used tiny stamps to fill in the gaps ... and then did some more stamping. In addition to the 4 colours above, I added some Sauna and Juniper Mist (CP inks).

(4 image in row, stamped 4 times)

And here's the second PTI card that I created earlier this month. The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted.

  2. I absolutely LOVE these cards - they somehow have a Scandinavian feel to them (to my eye at least).
