For February, we have another fun challenge for you:
I decided to kill two birds with one stone when I realised that I would be guest designing at two different challenges at the same time (see this post). I took the die cut JOY from my brushos panel to create a super CAS card, adding a stamped sentiment and a die-cut felt heart. After all, February is Valentine's month.
I used:
Cardstock - Neenah solar white, Crafter's Companion watercolour cardBrushos - Ultramarine, Emerald green, Turquoise
Love how these crystals give you get flecks of other colours as well
Dies - new Joy die by Concord and 9th; new heart die from a nested set by Crafter's Companion
Stamps - In bloom: Frenchy's festive florals by Winnie & Walter
Felt from my stash
Here's a close-up of my felt heart. Love the warmth this adds to the design.
So now it's over to you. Why don't you pop over to the CAS Mix Up challenge blog to check out the inspiration by the DT and see how you can play along? In addition, you will also find a few video links to help you get started on using felt, canvas or cork on your CAS cards.
I'm also linking up my card at:
Uniko - #45 Something old, something new
(new dies, older stamps & brushos, old felt)
SSS Wednesday - Anything goes
Jingle Belles - Text me
ATSM - #277 Make your mark
