More MFT Olympics - 2 cards

Yay! I have managed to create two more cards for the MFT Creative Olympics, which means I have a card for each of the 4 events.


First up, I have a card for Event #1, the Stamping Slalom, which challenged us to use images from at least 3 different MFT sets. Well, I managed to combine images from 4 different sets (Llama Love, Merry Everything, Friends in the Forest, Bitty Bears) and also borrowed the 'HOLIDAY' from a 5th set (Deer Friends) to alter my sentiment from the Llama Love set.

My second card is for Event #3, the Crafty Biathlon, which is about combining one of the given techniques with one of the card types.


I created a shaker with inlaid die cutting, using my new MFT shaker elements and my new MFT die. To create my background, I did a little smooshing using a piece of acetate and my Catherine Pooler inks (Mint to be, Daydream). The wonderful sequin mix is by 28 Lilac Lane.

Here's a close-up of the shaker part. I love how these shaker elements allow me to create shakers without the additional bulk and weight of foam tape.

    oh my gosh, that crafty olympics sounds like a blast! and you are definitely ROCKIN' the events! i love BOTH of these ideas & couldn't possibly pick a fave. (tho a llama in a wooly hat kind of automatically WINS at anything, doesn't it??!?!?!) :) :) :)

    Wonderful cards - and I'm getting kind of jealous I've missed these "Olympics"! The biathlon would have been just the right thing! Both cards are stunning in their own right.
