Melonising

Some time ago, my blogging buddy Ruth from Crafting while the baby naps shared a couple of fun cards where she was 'melonising' her stamped images. I thought it was a fun idea but did not give it a go myself until last week, using the heart stamp from Winnie & Walter's True stamp set.

After colouring my images using Copics, I fussy cut them and adhered them to a black panel (Crafters Companion) to which I added some gold splatters using my new Gansai Tambi Starry colours. The sentiment is from the Kindness with Evelin T Designs stamp set (Winnie & Walter).

Challenges:
LIM - #340 Tropical fruits

Taheerah's Gossip Column at W&W - No. 8 Summer fruits

Daring Cardmakers - Unnatural

ATSM -  #254 CAS

  4. Melonising - I didn't know what to think of it when I read the word but that's a really fun way of coloring stamps and getting an unusual effect. With the black background and gold splatters they look like planets in outer space!
