I started with testing my tone on tone stamping on a smaller scrap to see if I liked it, which I did, so I decided to create this strip into a card as well, and then I went on to stamp the larger panel in simplar fashion, using one of the blooms from the Wild hibiscus stamp set by Altenew. The sentiment and heart are from the You are enough set by Concord & 9th. I adhered my panel to a card base out of soft grey cardstock.
Below is the first stamped strip, which I adhered onto a card base of Rustic cream cardstock by PTI.
And here they are together:
I'm entering my first card into the following challenges:
Where Creativity meets C9 - #12 Anything goes
Tic Tac Toe - #12, I went with the bottom horizonal row

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic pair of cards! I particularly like the added effect of the thread behind the sentiment panel on the first one - another thing I need to try!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely. That soft blue is stunning, and then the subtle pattern with your ton-on-tone inking... swoon. Thanks so much for joining us over at Where Creativity Meets C9!
