Tropical hello

Hello and welcome! With the summer heat going on here in Crete, it's only fitting that I created a tropical card for a couple of challenges.

Ancient soft yellow cardstock
Hello die (Winnie & Walter)
Pineapple crown stamp and narrow embossing folder
from the Totally Tropical crafting set that came
as a free gift with an UK magazine from Practical Publishing.
Pinecone stamps (for my 'fake pineapple' background) -
In bloom: Elsa's Flora (Winnie & Walter)
Inks - Sea glass (SSS), Peeled paint distress oxide ink,
Tea die and Antique linen distress inks
Die - Stitched slopes and hills (SSS)
Yellow Copic marker & SN glitter brush

LIM  - #340 Tropical fruits

Fusion - Pastel Pencils

Taheerah's Gossip Column at W&W - No. 8 Summer fruits

AAA Cards - #96 Summer fun

  1. I absolutely love the embossing on the lettering! What a great touch and perfectly suited to the pineapple :) A fab design! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)

  2. How cool to mirror the pineapple with your big ol' sentiment die! Great design element!

  3. Clean, crisp and really elegant Marianne and so clever how you did the pineapple.

  4. Such a great touch of summer while here it's 15° and raining, raining... Lovely card!

  5. Wat leuk, how sweet, elk detail zó mooi uitgewerkt: de achtergrond, de voorkant in een ronding afgesneden, prachtig! De embossing komt ook zo mooi uit met een knipoog van de ananas. Top! Dikke kus Ineke😘

  6. Clever use of embossing on the letters, really echoes a pineapple texture. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.

  7. What a great card! Love everything about it! The colours, the embossing on the letters, the pineapple! Fabulous! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!

  8. Fun pineapple embossing on the sentiment. Thank you for sharing with us at AAA Cards.

  9. Fabulous card, love the design. Thanks for joining us at AAA Cards!
