W&W Rerun No 20

I managed to squeeze in a little crafty time today to create a card for this month's Rerun challenge at the Winnie & Walter blog. I do not own the stamp set that was being revisited this month. Instead, I used the supplied I did have to CASE Heather's card.

I created my stripes by masking off strips and blending distress inks. After die cutting my panel using the largest die of the Essentials: Noelle Cutaways set (Winnie & Walter) I stamped the sentiment from The Big, the Bold, Friends (Winnie & Walter) with the help of my MISTI and then added a few stars from the Comfort + Joy set (Winnie & Walter) and kissing the stamp with the large, textured start stamp from the same set before stamping onto my panel. After adhering my panel to a red card base (SSS), I added some multi-coloured stickles to the centres of the stars, but decided I did not like it. So I scraped of most, spreading out just a tiny amount over the entire stars for some added sparkle. Sadly, this does not show in the picture.

I'm also linking up my card at:
