From our home to yours

Hello there! I managed to squeeze in a bit of crafty time just now to create a card for this month's challenge at Muse: ChristmasVisions. It's been a while since I've been able to play along, but I really wanted to join after seeing the inspiration card by Chriss Blagrave. I figured I might be able to make the deadline if I stuck to a one-layer card and used my new Catherine Pooler inks (It's a boy, It's a girl, Mint to be and Melon ice) to do my stamping. So here goes:

I used a previously die cut circle (SSS stitched circles) for a visual indication for my stamping and afterwards decided it would be perfect for stamping my sentiment. All stamps are from the Cozy Christmas set (Essentials by Ellen).

Below is the card created by Chriss. As you can see I kept the layout and colours pretty similar, but created a square card.

That's another Christmas card to add to my stack. Yay!

  1. Wauw, artistieke uitstraling door kleuren en patronen. Die sierlijke rookpluim is een mooie tegenhanger van alle strakke vormen en tevens een verbindende factor naar de cirkel.leuk hoor. Liefs Ineke☀️

  5. Perfect rendition of Chriss' card. I love the 'smoke' curling from the chimneys of two of the houses.

  7. I predict you'll get top votes for this, Marianne! It is a brilliant take on Chriss's fun card!!

I just saw your comment from a few days ago at my place. I'm so sorry to hear that your Mister's cancer traveled to his lungs. Good news that it is slow-growing and can be attacked and destroyed. I hope and pray they get it all this time and stop it for good. I understand about making cards to dispense that pent-up worry and nervous energy. If not, all your wonderful talent goes to waste and this way you bring joy to others which takes you out of your own situation. God bless and lots of hugs, Darnell
