Easter bunny

With Easter fast approaching, I thought it was high time to ink up a cute bunny, along with the air balloon from the same NBUS stamp set (Darling Friends, Simon Says Stamp/Pretty Pink Posh).


I coloured the images using Copics and then die cut them using the accompanying dies. To create the background, I blended Sea Glass ink (SSS) onto my card base using a blending tool. I adhered the balloon and bunny and stamped the sentiment (NBUS - Flying by, Lawn Fawn). I masked off the last part of the sentiment (hi) and even remembered to take off the washi tape before stamping. Phew. I added a few dots using a Micron pen and stamped a second sentiment inside, saying 'Happy Easter'. Forgot to take a picture, sorry. The scripty font of the sentiment on the inside (more NBUS - Sweet Little Sentiments, Clearly Besotted) tied in nicely with the font on the front of my card.

    Well done NOT making a boo boo with that sediment, Marianne, and well done altering it for an Easter card! Remembering to take the tape off really requires concentration! Your card is super cute!     Another awesome card from you, Marianne! You're on a roll! This one is beyond adorable with that cute bunny in the hot air balloon and the softly inked sky. Congrats on the successfully executed sentiment. I ALWAYS forget and leave the masking tape on the first time I go to stamp the partial sentiment... yep, really! It's my "thing" (sigh).     So cute and dreamy. Fabulous colouring and I love that gentle blend of blue. We've all done the 'whoops I forgot to remove the mask from my sentiment' blooper, I know I have!
