A little bit of kindness

Hello and welcome! After a busy week I managed to squeeze in a little crafty time tonight to create a card for this week's LIM challenge and a few other challenges.

For my card, I manipulated one of the digital images that Beverley of Uniko designed for Simply Cards & Papercrafts last year (see the Uniko blog for a link to these digital freebies) using Word. I rotated the image so that one of the blooms was positioned the way I wanted and then placed a white circle/oval on top of the second floral and the sentiment to obscure these, and layered another sentiment on top before sending it to my printer. I did some simple colouring using Copics and added a little extra interest by going over the entire image using a Spectrum Noir glitter brush and rounding the top corner.

Challenges:

LIM - #323 One layer - Curve

Uniko - #40 Spring/Easter

AAA Cards - #87 Shiny Spring

ATCAS - #108 Smile

ATSM - #237 Make your mark

  1. What a beauty Marianne! Adore that Uniko image and your colouring makes the bloom look so delicate. The pretty and soft blue around it is just gorgeous. Would love to see this in real life to see all the shimmer. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
