Subtle pink for Christmas

To show you all that pink Christmas cards can be subtle, too, I created two more cards that were inspired by the current Muse ChristmasVision challenge as well as the current Pn-sights challenge over at the Ellen Hutson blog.


I decided to create 2 cards of the same design, for the Jingle Belles:


My starting point were the layout and the neutral background and tree (I used Neenah desert storm cardstock and warm grey Altenew inks) plus the white sentiment of Elizabeth's first card below. For the embellishments, I pulled in the colour of Elizabeth's second card below. The tree theme and the pink were also what attracted me in the Pin-sights challenge moodboard, as well as the coppery pink of the star ornaments in the bottom left, which I mimicked with a few similarly coloured sequins from my stash.

The tree stamp is by Winnie & Walter, while the sentiment is by Essentials by Ellen.

  1. did i say 10 cards??! it seems i spoke just the tiniest bit too soon, didn't i?! btw, i forgot to say CONGRATS on making 80 cards in total by the end of october, that is incredibly cool. (& i happen to know that they are all AMAING!) wow! just WOW! i wish i had an awesome prize for you, but i hope you'll settle for a giant 10x PINK XMAS thanks?! ♥
