Merry

I was determined to play along with this new CAS challenge in blogland. Since the linky will be closing soon, I set out to create a card this afternoon using the wonderful stamps by Pinkfresh Studio that arrived with the Creative Stamping magazine on Thursday.

After stamping and white heat embossing (SSS) one of the large flower clusters towards the bottom of my soft pink cardstock, I used CP inks in Polished and Seafoam to colour in my images with the help of a Zig blender brush.

I die cut the Merry sentiment (Merry & Bright, Essentials by Ellen) from my stamped panel and 2 more times from red cardstock. I adhered my card panel to my pearlescent card base and then inlaid my sentiment stack for a camouflaged CAS look.

I'm playing at:

Perfectly CAS - #1 Flowers

Jingle Belles - Pink Christmas...for the cure

As always, the first JB challenge in October is
all about pink holiday cards

this fortnight, the love Jingle Belles,
