Twofer butterflies

Hi there. I'm popping in with my cards for this month's Twofer Card Challenge and combined it with a number of other fun challenges. My biggest problem was to decide which butterflies to use, since I have quite a collection by now. In the end, I decided to go with a NBUS stencil and stamp combo that I recently purchased from Love from Lizi.

For my Friend card, I blended CP inks (Melon Ice, Tiki Torch and Coral Cabana) through my square stencil at the top of my white panel. After removing the stencil, I spritzed the stencil with water and created a mono print onto watercolour card. I placed my clean stencil back onto my panel and did some more ink blending. I used one of the stamps from the accompanying stamp set to create my topper. To finish off, I popped up a sentiment strip (coloured with Melon Ice ink) and added a few Studio Calico sequins.

For my encouragement card, I used the mono print. I placed the stencil back on top and traced the outlines with coloured pencils and then die cut my panel and frame using an MFT die. I popped up the frame using a pink foam frame that was left from another project and then decided my butterfly panel needed something extra. So I stamped the bodies of the large butterflies using the matching stamps. The set comes with complete butterflies as well as separate bodies, which I love. I stamped my sentiment (SSS) and adhered my panel and frame onto my card from hammered cardstock.
