For my second card, I went a different, and much simpler, route. I stamped just a corner of the background stamp onto my card base. I die cut a flower from the add-on set of the card kit using watercolour card, adhered a circle of cardstock at the back so as to keep all the inside parts in place, and then used my Arteza real brush markers and the Arteza water brush to add some colour. I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set and then popped up my flower using foam tape.

Two stunning cards, Marianne! I'm proud of you for using it as soon as you did; sometimes I take YEARS instead of months, lol! You've shown two effective ways to use only part of an entire cover stamp and it's beautiful in both black and white and colored! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #27 and sharing at NBUS! Take care and stay safe! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully detailed floral stamp Marianne and two such different ways of using it, many thanks for sharing and joining in with our May 'Say it with Flowers' theme at Stamping Sensations challenge.

Totally stunning cards, Marianne!! The coloring you've done on the gorgeous image is just wow! I also love how your sentiment sits beautifully inside the circle, and how you've incorporated it in your card design! Thank you so much for joining us at the Seize the Birthday challenge!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully coloured background, Marianne ... such a wonderful riot of vibrant colour ... the simple black circle sentiment is perfect with it! Love how you've used just a corner of the same stamp for your monochrome angled panel ... the line art background really allows your soft single bloom to shine! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards and my personal taste likes the one with the black and white image and the beautifully colored flower on it :-) Thanks for sharing over at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog!
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful, awesome colouring & stamping. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely creation with us at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.

Those flowers look amazing either way, but your coloring is sensational! I love both designs and particularly love the circle sentiment cut inside - so hard to do with a busy pattern! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
ReplyDeleteAwesome set of cards! Thanks for joining us at Happy Little Stampers!
Dikke kus, Ineke☀️
