I started by partially die cutting the MFT Snowfall die, so that only the top part of my panel was die cut. Next, I created a mask by tearing a post-it note and blended some distress oxide inks for my winter sky. I also spritzed a little water and when my panel had dried, I stamped the tree (Friends in the Forest) in Peeled Paint DOI and the sentiment (Bitty Bears) in Faded Jeans DOI. I then adhered my panel flat onto my white card base. As a finishing touch, I used a white coloured pencil to add the tiniest bit of shading to the tree brnaches.
I'm entering my card into the Clean and Simple Genius category

ReplyDeleteI didn't even know there were such things as snowfall dies (and would have wondered what they would look like) but this makes perfect sense! Great card!
