I repeatedly stamped the poinsettia without reinking. That's right, I inked my stamp up only once, using Catherine Pooler's Rockin' Red ink, and stamped 6 times in one go. To give my 2nd to 6th generation stamped images a little more definition, I went over the tips and centres of the petals with a red coloured pencil, using a very light hand. I stamped the hearts in Tsukineko gold ink and heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set in white (SSS) onto a scrap of black cardstock (Crafter's Companion). I matted my stamped panel onto black cs before adhering it to my red card (SSS, Schoolhouse red).

Marianne, you outdid yourself with this card - the fading color of the poinsettias is quite the eyecatcher.

ReplyDeleteWát een mooi kleurenspel met 6x afdruk, en daardoor diepte. Wat een feestje voor je om zo te experimenteren. Ik kan het helemaal volgen. Liefs Ineke☀️

ReplyDeleteYour generation stamping has such impact; impressive that you achieved such stellar results with one inking! May have to investigate Catherine Pooler's inks more closely! So thrilled that you shared this beauty in the UNIKO gallery!
