I created my front panel by adhering strips of double sided tape in 2 widths and sprinkling them with Pentart gilding flakes. I first peeled of some of the liners and used gilding flakes that had a mixtue of gold, copper and silver. After burnishing my flakes, I removed the liners of the remaining strips and added another mixture of gilding flakes, containing gold and copper, including a little green.tinted flakes. I die cut a circle out of my panel (Essentials: Carly cutaways, Winnie & Walter). I adhered a sheet of heat resistent acetate (Crafter's Companion) behind the aperture after heat embossing my sentiment (Happiest of Holidays with Evelin T Designs, Winnie & Walter) in gold embossing powder (Papermania). For my background I heat embossed a the tiny stars/snowflakes from the Season'g Tweetings set (Winnie & Walter) in sliver pearl embossing powder (Ranger) and then blended some distress inks (tumbled glass and peacock feathers, Ranger) using a Clarity brush. I used a mixture of silver sequins in various sizes (Darice) and gold sequins (a bargain at a recent Animal Welfare sale).
