To finish the card off, I created a small opening in the fold of the card to feed some baker's twine (Martha Stewart) through, after which I could tie my bow.

What a great way to use those stamped words...so inventive! Love the blended background colours...they look wonderful together. Thanks for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays!ReplyDelete
Love it! Love the way the words are concentrated in the middle of the card. Your ink blending is great - love how you get different colours to blend so effortlessly. XxReplyDelete
Love your colors. Thanks for sharing at ATCAS!ReplyDelete
What a gorgeous sentiment box, Marianne ... cool and clever use of the words ... and such delicious blended colours! Saw Jennifer McGuire with those Clarity stencil brushes the other day ... they look fabulous ... the softness you created with them is just lovely! Anita :)ReplyDelete
Such a fun design and I love your sentiment! Beautiful blending with your inks, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at ATCAS!ReplyDelete
Thanks so much for your visit to my blog - I've been AWOL so long that I really really appreciate each visitor.
I love the simplicity of your card - your softly blended colors with matching baker's twine. The sentiment is crisp and bold and eye catching. Great to leave a lot of white space to draw your eye to the feature - your text!
Hope you have a creative week.
Lovely ink blending and fun way to place sentiment. Thank you for playing along with ATCAS!ReplyDelete
