No stamping...

Two posts/cards in one day! Yay! I guess you could say that I've been enjoying my day off LOL.

My card was inspired by this card by Kristina Werner. The stamp that she used is still on my ever growing wish list, but it also reminded me of the Marianne Design paper tape I had been hoarding for quite some time and never really new what to do with. Until now...

The poinsettias and the sentiments were part of the same set of 3 rolls of paper tape. Because I felt that two die cut ornaments (also Marianne Design) would be too much and only one would not be enough, I embossed the ornament first and then adheren a die cut one on top. All I needed to do to finish the card off was to add some twine and a touch of glamour using my Wink of Stella marker on the cut ornament.

I'm linking my card up for the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - No stamping
CHNC - Die-cut or punched shape
CHNC Extra - always Anything Christmas goes
RCC - 90 Washi tape

  1. Outstanding! I love this card and how you made the one ornament look shadowed by only embossing and then die cutting the other. I'll have to remember that. Don't you love Washi tape? It's so easy and makes such a wonderful card. This one is beautiful. Glad you enjoyed your day off.
