Silhouette grasses

Today's card was inspired by the work of Brenda of Floral Fantasies. To celebrate her 4th blogaversary and (nearly) 4000 followers, Brenda has aked her followers to join in the celebration by creating a card that is inspired by her blog or her creations. For crafters that are familiar with Brenda's work, my choice of stamp (A little bit scenic - Silhouette grasses by Sheena Douglas) and medium (distress inks) will not come as a surprise, nor the addition of something with wings (a dragonfly instead of a butterfly LOL). The birthday sentiment is from a set by Studio Light and the fibre is an old one by Avec.

This one's for you Brenda. Thanks for all the inspiration you provide to me and other crafters worldwide!

I'd also like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Happy Birthday
Penny Black and more - Blossoms and bows
Allsorts - 201 Spring has sprung
LCI - Anything goes
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Fly
Great Impressions Stamps - Pastel colours and/or polka dots

  3. Morning Marianne,

I was so please to see your entry when I got back from Paris last night.

Your choice of colours is stunning, the green coupled with the black really stands out and the second stamping giving gives a lovely shadow effect. And the dragonfly a beautiful finishing touch and a card that really appeals to me in all aspects.

Thank you so much for making such a special card to join in my blog celebration and for your kind words which mean so much.

Thanks you also for sharing your lovely work with us at Penny Black and More and Allsorts challenges.

Love your techniques and styles, and after enjoying your artwork on several dates, have signed up to be a follower. In this gorgeous card, I especially like your choice of colors with that green highlighting the silhouettes. 14. What a wonderful garden of flowers and it's such a pretty scene you've created. What's better than a bed of flowers and blue skies. I like your stamped off flowers...made it so realistic.
