Christmas Cow

The stamp I used on this card has been stashed for about two years, so it's about time I started using it. I've been playing around with my sticker markers a little more – I do think it's about time I treated myself to some more versatile markers – and found some silver/multi-coloured glitter glue that I used on the grey coloured patches. The glitter does not really show well in the photograph, though.
When I was nearly done, I decided I needed a black ribbon to finish it off. Since I didn't have any black ribbon, I went down to the bookshop in the village, which also carries a very limited stock of craft/card making stuff and an equally limited selection of ribbons. Of course they did not have any black ribbon, so I settled on some lovely pink and purple ones, because I need to make a card for a sweet girl who's turning 4 and who loves pink, lol. I browsed through the new craft products they had when my eye fell on some bookmarks. Two of them had white and blak ribbons attached to them! So I was able to finish the card after all.

For this card I used this week's sketch at Mojo Monday.

Materials used:
Papers – Marianne Design
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Nestability
Distress ink
Tag punch
Sentiment stamp – not sure which brand
Button from my stash – I cleaned out my sewing box last week and found a lot of buttons, lol
Ribbon taken from a brand new bookmark

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Mojo Monday – Sketch
ABC Christmas Challenge – O is for Older Image
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long – Favourite colour (actually,
I also happen to love blues and purples, but looking at the
clothes I'm wearing today I can honestly say that
red & black is a favourite combination of mine)
Totally Gorjuss – Punch or die
Bling it on – Anything goes
Allsorts Challenge – Free and easy July
Charisma Cardz – 4-legged friends
