Monday's challenge was about creating a Christmas card with non-tradional colours.
The patterned paper is from a Christmas paper pad I've had for ages and really did not know what to do with. The theme of the paper pad was "Silver" but the most dominant colour is a kind of old rose.
I do think the colour works well in combination with the dark aubergine-coloured cardstock I've used.
The stamps are Marianne Design, and so is the poinsettia die cut. I coloured the stamp with my Derwent Coloursoft pencils.
This card is also for Paper Sundays Challenge #78 – Christmas in July and Crafty Pad Challenge # 130 – Christmas in July.
Such a cheery image! Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at The Crafty Pad for our Christmas in July challenge this week!
