I started by scribbling some colours onto the textured side of my watercolour panel (Crafter's Companion) using my Zig markers and then blended the colour out with a waterbrush. Since my brush strokes were not yet wide enough for the die that I wanted to use (a small border die from Essentials: Noelle cutaways by Winnie & Walter), I sprayed my panel with a mister causing the colours to move out and blend some more. After my panel was dry, I die cut the border several times, making sure to leave a wider gap as I moved towards the bottom of my panel. I heat embossed the Hugs sentiment (The Big, the Bold and Friends, Winnie & Walter) in liquid platinum embossing powder (Ranger) an stamped the cluster of hearts and the second part of my sentiment using Clean slate pigment ink (Studio Calico).
I had intended to use slate grey cardstock behind my panel, but after discovering I only had a small strip left, I simply swiped my clean slate ink pad across the middle and edges of my base card (Neenah) and adhered my watercolour panel using plenty of double-sided tape. To add a little more sparkle, I went over the hearts with a Spectrum Noir shimmer brush and added a few clear sequins (Pretty Pink Posh).
