Monochromatic shaker card

Hello there, I'm back with another shaker card.

I wanted to see if I could create a marbling effect using distress ink smooshing and cling foil on yupo. As was to be expected, the ink did not fully dry on the yupo paper. Since I did like the soft effect I had created, I was determined to use my panel anyway. So I decided to use it as the background for a CAS shaker card and also sprayed it with a surface sealant as an extra precaution.

I used a label die from CAS-ual Fridays (part of one of the earlier SOA collections) and a stitched rectangle die (SSS) to create my shaker window. Before adhering my acetate panel, I stamped the Mondo Magnolia (Essentials by Ellen) using black Stazon. The sequins in my shaker are by Studio Calico. To finish off, I also adhered 3 SC sequins in matte silver on top of my shaker window

Here's a close-up of the sparkling sequins:

My card was inspired by the following challenges:
CAS Mix Up September - Marbling, stamping, die cutting
Essentials by Ellen Pin-sights September challenge (see graphic below)
CAS-ual Fridays - CFC157 Shaker cards
CASology - 162 Frame
STAMPlorations - September Theme and Sketch (see graphic below - I went with the theme)
