I started by stamping the solid leaf images onto my panel of Neenah Solar white cardstock and then stamping over these using the outline image and a darker green. I slightly offset the outlined images for a more loose effect. I then added the berries in red and added a little shimmer using clear Wink of Stella. The sentimen is from the same stamp set by The Ton and was heat embossed in white onto a scrap of black cardstock. I added 2 strips of red glitter paper on either side before mounting my panel onto a black card base.

Truly magical! I love holly to start with but your card design is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Marianne! I was surprised to read that you had stamped all the holly yourself... that stamp set is beautiful and gives such a great result. I also like the way you heat embossed the image, the white really stands out beautifully. Great job!

Stunning. I thought that was a printed paper until I read your post. Thank you for joining in the challenge at CHNC Extra for December.
