Hello everyone. I have managed to add another Christmas card to my 2023 stack.
I started by created a few backgrounds using distress oxides and a brayer on the inside of an embossing folder. The panel for this card was created by rolling off the brayer onto a piece of watercolour card and then embossing it. I first added squeezed lemonade ink using a brayer to bring out the text but did not like the result, so I then decided to use a domed ink dauber and blueprint sketch DO to lightly go over some of the raised areas and the edges.
The mug (CASual Friday) was die cut from a scrap of cardstock and inked around the edges and the inside oval, while the sentiment strip and die-cut snowflake came from my UFO box.
