Christmas stencilling - Tonic magazine 04

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
I still have quite a few last-minute Christmas cards to share. To be honest, most of this year's Christmas cards were more or less last-minute. A great incentive to start working on next year's cards asap!
Anyway, today's cards were made using part of the stencil and one of the stamps that came in a Tonic magazine kit that I purchased earlier this year. I simply could not resist the huge snowflake die set that came in the kit.

I started with blending several green inks and then used a coloured pencel to add more definition and shading. I also used the lightest colour of green for some sutble stencilling on my base card.
To finish off, I added gold splatters and die-cut my panel using a SSS stitched rectangle die.

Christmas blessings

Wishing you all a Joyous Christmas!

For this card, I used a NBUS cut and emboss folder and
did some simple ink blending behind the apertures.

Pink Christmas in December

Hello everyone. I am back with a few more pinkish Christmas cards. I started creating the one with the pink background for the annual pink challenge for Jingle Belles back in October but did not manage to finish it before my trip to the Netherlands.

And because it's such a simple as well as fun card to create, using only some patterned paper (Tonic Studio Christmas kit), a die (Winnie & Walter), a NBUS stamp (Crafter's Companion) and some black ink, I created a few more. This time, I decided to keep the background white.

I'm linking up my trio of cards at:

November Card Chain Challenge reveal

It's time for the Card Chain Challenge reveal. Since my card was going to Dawn in New Zealand, I opted for a summery floral card and simply went with the Friendship option for the challenge.

I stamped my NBUS image (Crafter's Companion) and coloured it using CC TriMarkers. I then coloured the background using a Copic marker and used a piece of soft rag and rubbing alcohol for a softer effect.

Do check out the CCC challenge blog and sign up for next month's card exchange!
