One-layer Christmas card with distressing

I did it! After viewing a lot of demos on YouTube I dived in and got out my distress inks for some real distressing! Hope you like what you see.

Materials used:
Stamps – Artemio
Distress ink – clear, broken china, faded jeans, spiced marmelade
Embossing powder – white frosted
Post-it notes to mask off the area to be stamped

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp and Show – Show a Tim Holtz technique
Less is More – One layer, using ink
CHNC – One layer, keep it simple
Charisma Cardz – Distressing
Crafty Catz – Emboss it

  22. oh ♥WOW♥!!! this is MAGNIFICENT as both an example of the "emboss/resist" technique AND also as a card inspired by JM's lovely tutorial AND a great use of those amazing stamps... but the thing that really REALLLLLLLY impresses me the very most here is that you've done it all ON ONE LAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could no more do that than *FLY* so that just blows me away, the seemingly effortless way you have pulled that off--and i'd've not really probably REALIZED what you had done if you hadn't mentioned it. ♥wow♥WOW♥wow♥!!!!!
