Two days ago, we had to say goodbye to our beloved 15-year old male cat, Rolmops. When he was a small and chubby kitten – and about the same age as the queen of our household, Kokkini, who was born in our home – he would roll over in front of our feet while we were walking on the street, showing us how cute he was and telling us he was ready to be adopted. It wasn't until our 2 Dutch cats passed a few months later that he finally got his wish. We miss him but know he is happy and free now, and without any pain.

Old-fashioned Christmas and a farewell
On a happier note, I have another Christmas card to share. I coloured in this Santa image (NBUS Crafter's Companion, Believe in the magic) using Copics, die cut the panel with a SSS stitched rectangle and adhered it to my card base (Schoolhouse red, SSS).

GD at Rudolph Days - Dachshund through the snow
Hello everyone. I'm thrilled to be making a guest appearance today at this month's Rudolph Days, an Anything Goes Christmas challenge that runs from the 25th until the end of each month.
I used a shimmery galaxy background and a (possibly NBUS) treescape die cut from my UFO box and paired it with this sweet dachshund from a NBUS stamp set (Santa Paws) by Art Impressions. I coloured him in using Copics, using the image on the packaging for reference, and then fussy-cut him so that I could pop him up.
Do check out the Rudolph Days challenge to see what the other guest designers and our host, Helen, have created. And of course you are more than welcome to play along.
I'm also linking up my card at:
