As always, I was determined to play in this month's Twofer challenge, but I was running out of time fast. Therefore, I made a very quick and CAS second card, turning the sun stamp into artsy sunflowers. I stamped three sunflowers onto my kraft panel and did some very quick colouring using coloured pencils and odourless mineral spirits. I die cut my panel using a SSS stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a dark yellow card base. To create my sentiment strip, I grabbed a yellow Copic marker and a scrap of white cardstock and then stamped the sentiment (Concord & 9th).

ReplyDeleteWeird... I didn't feel I was missing out on anything (not traveling this year), but seeing that beach card makes me want to go. It's an adorable card. And the bronze feeling of your artsy sun flowers is really quite spectacular.
