I tapped 3 colours of ink (Catherine Pooler) onto an acrylic block, picked up the colour with a fairly wet brush and painted it through the stencil onto my panel of watercolour card (Ranger). I also added fine splatters in the same colours. When my panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment from my NBUS Charmed stamp set (Altenew) in Versafine black and heat embossed in clear. I die cut a skinny frame (Frames, SSS) and adhered it to my panel using liquid glue and then adhered my panel to my card base using strong double-sided tape.

A beautiful card, Marianne! I had never hear of this technique, but LOVE the results!!! The speckles really "ground" the butterfly images, which is important to give it a finished look. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us here at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges! -Donna
