One of these smaller panels ended up on my card above. I didn't want to cover up too much of my pretty panel, so I simply added a sentiment (Bigger Bang Confetti, Winnie & Walter), just below the big white cat that's keeping a watchful eye from his magic forest. Don't you love it when you get such fun surprise gifts? But maybe you prefer dogs lol? I adhered my panel behind a die cut frame (I die cut the outer frame using Custom Panels by Avery Elle and the inner frame using Concentric Circle Dies (NBUS 1) by Neat & Tangled - part of an earlier SOA collection) and mounted it all onto my A2 card base. To finish off, I added a few gold sparkly gems (NBUS 2) that ended up in my cart last month when I was spending a gift certificate (from my challenge win at AAA Cards) at Kylie's Happy Little Stamper's shop.
This card is a purrfect fit for the following challenges:
Darnell's NBUS #8 - Anything NBUS goes + optional theme: new technique
AAA Cards - CAS game #81 Hello
CAS Mix Up - Stamping, liquid colours + choice (die cutting)
Taheerah's Gossip Column at Winnie & Walter - No. 6 Marble
SOS - #286 Fantastic beasts
Beautiful rainbow ๐ colours, this truly is a happy hello! Well done.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful effect you got! Very beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteAnd the cat actually looks like it comes out of Aladdin's miracle lantern! Wonderful marbling... I do wonder, though, how it's actually done with shaving cream. But I'm sure the internet will know the answer.
ReplyDeleteThis is creation! I love it. Did you see also the little fox, when jou turn your creation upside down, with her brown eyes? I see more animals still looking out to enjoy us. Super leuk gedaan Mar. En prachtige kleuren. Geniet weer van je.๐Ineke
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! you had me finding this shapes on your card like when you look up at the clouds and try to find whatever fits your fancy.
ReplyDeleteI do see a cat but I also kind of see a mousy? right there on top of the die cut sentiment.
I love your creativity and imagination, you had all of us trying to find shapes.
Hmm..I think I do see a foxy there on the bottom when I stood on my head, LOL!!
Fun, fun card, thank you for sharing it with us at SHOPPING OUR STASH, hope you join the party again next time.
Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
Big white cat, eh? Did you grow up in the 60s, by any chance?! I did and that's what I see, too, now that you mention it! This is really up there in the top five most beautiful shaving cream coloring I've ever seen, Marianne! It's a technique I've yet to try and it is the one I'm doing for the next challenge tomorrow. Just kidding! I know, that was mean! But it is a technique I still want to try and you've inspired me! Thanks for playing in my challenge #8 again!! Hugs, Darnell
